Rare Roses is a paintings series based on real roses with genetic abnormalities. This series is a tribute to Nicole’s son and everyone born with rare genetic variants. Each painting was created to remind us that we are ALL uniquely beautiful and deserving of love regardless of our DNA differences.

This series is now sold out with 80% of the artwork's sale price donated to support the Greenwood Genetic Center. Thank you to all the patrons of this project who supported its mission and message. Many of the Rare Roses have gone to institution where they will be available for public viewing, including Clemson University's Center for Human Genetics, the University of Chicago's Department of Human Genetics, Boston Children’s Hospital, the Greenwood Genetic Center, and The Medical University of South Carolina.
